The Boxted 10km is a new race on the calendar. Very warm weather was the order of the day for the small team of Harriers competing. Gavin Scanlon has improved rapidly, and was a good runner up on a very tough off road course in 38-10, Keith Marley was 6th overall and 3rd veteran 40. Richard Flutter 10th, with Simon Smith right behind in 11th. Both Flutter and Smith gained a one, two in the Vet 50 category.

The Nuclear race held at Brentwood saw Rachel Rodgers and Louise Yates once again participate.
A firm fixture now in the racing calendar is the Paras 10 Mile. Ian Haw took on the off road event and came home 3rd overall. The junior Paras’ 2 attracted a host of young Harriers, who all ran well.
