At a cold and wet Horspath near Oxford four Harriers represented Essex in the South of England Inter-Counties cross country races. Around 13 counties were represented with each county selecting 8 runners to compete in each age category

Milly Presland picked up her first Essex vest, for the U13 girls team, and finished 66th in a strong field (6th Essex runner home).

Hannah Watson has become a regular for the Essex team, and represented the U17 women’s team despite being only a first year in the age group. Hannah finished 49th in her race.

In the U15 boys race the Harriers had two representatives, both of whom are regulars for Essex and both finished in the scoring team of four runners. Danny Millward finished a strong 17th (1st Essex runner) with Max Caulfield 44th (4th Essex runner)
