Ultra success for Harriers

Colchester Harriers team of Allen Smalls, Sean Ketteridge, and Chris Manby took part in the 4 inns Challenge over 66km of tough Peak district terrain. With the going tough the team kept together and won the novice prize and were 6th overall, a fine run by the ultra men.

At the Fleet Half Marathon Daz Faruggi clocked 1:15, and Alex Sales gained his second personal best of the weekend in 1:22:57.

The Brentwood half marathon saw a personal best for James Waterson 1:26:09, and a good effort by Keith Marley 1:27:21.

The Colchester Park run had a few less Harriers due to the road relays but good times came from those who competed, Danny Millward was 2nd in 17:56, Jake Young 4th 18:28, Ziggy Lambton 20:41, Mark Baker 20:51, Dan Wilkinson 21:07, and Andrew Dagge 22:44. Drew Olley won the Great Cornard Park run in 17:49.

John Fryer ran the Grizzly trail in Devon in 3:10, with Sophie Fryer completing the cub run in 1:34.
