High Easter to Cold Xmas marathon

Smalls runner up

The High Easter to Cold Xmas Marathon is a tough affair with 27 miles of muddy fields and tracks to contend with, Harriers Allen Smalls shook off his recent  illness to finish runner up only 5 minutes behind the winner , Smalls slowed in the last 4 miles to lose touch with the leader. Good efforts came from Sean Ketteridge, Chris Manby , and Mellissa Dowell.

Colchester Castle Park Run

Incredible field at Castle

The New year bought a huge field of 348 runners to the Castle park 5km. Danny Millward was first Harrier 4th in 18-18, with Allen Smalls 5th in 18-20. It was top 10 places for Richard Boden 8th 19-42, and Dan Marks 9th 19-55.
