Colchester Harriers Megan Stevens travelled to Lee Valley at the weekend to stretch her legs again, after competing last week in the New Years Day open meeting, along with Savannah Harrison at the South of England Indoor athletics Championships.

In the 60 metres on Saturday, Stevens forced her way into the semi-finals, with a dipping finish in her heat, running 8.56s , while Harrison ran 8.71s in her heat.

In the 200 metres on Sunday, Stevens ran a 28.65s in her heat and Harrison ran 28.99s both unfortunate not to reach the next round.
