Walker-McClimens gains first win

Colchester Harriers supplied the marshals and pacers for the latest Castle 5km so did not take part except for the Pacers and Pete West who set up the course and then ran a brilliant race to finish runner up!

Colchester Harriers had a fine turn out of 43 marshalls and pacers, thanks goes to all who helped out to make it such a success.

The week previous, good results were gained. Holly Walker-McClimens won her first Park run to add to the list of Harriers lady winners at this event. 230 runners toed the line on the Castles toughest course with Danny Millward leading the green vests home in 2^nd spot in 18-53, David Wright was 6^th in 19-11 and Andy Raynor 10^th 20-04. Rachel Richardson-Wright equalled her personal best time, while Russell Goodridge completed his first park run.
