Angus way out in front

Colchester Harriers had the first 4 men home in the latest jaunt around Castle Park, new signing  Angus Holford surged clear of the field to win in 16-42, with Allen Smalls runner up in 17-55. Last weeks winner Danny Millward still only 13  was third in 18-10, with Andy Raynor nearly back to his best 4th in 18-33.  Laura Shewbridge was second lady with Amanda Henry 20-40 third and Debbie Cattermole 21-15 4th.  Other Harriers  to run were 9 Max Caulfield 19-12, 11 Richard Boden 19-21, 18 Russell Goodridge 19-39, 26 Richard Millward 20-01, 27 Joseph Boden 20-26, 28 Arthur Whiston 20-32, 30 Jerry Walder 20-54, 34 Dan Wilkinson 21-16, 67 Sophie Wilkinson 23-19, 93 Simon Morgan 24-37, 104 Fay Smalls 29-46, 251 Naomi Sandercock 33-53, 252 Kate Sandercock 33-53.

Jon Nears was runner up at the Chelmsford Park Run in 16-51, and this was mirrored at Great Notley by Mark Harrod who was 2nd in 17-59, David Wright was 5th at the Morpeth Northumberland event in 19-04.

Malcolm Statham completed his 165th Marathon at the Blackwater event  in 3-44.
