Colchester Harriers had 2 of their most successful days ever in the 2015 Essex championships at Chelmsford collecting a fantastic 18 medals including 8 golds, 8 silvers a 2 bronze.
Rebecca Jeggo won gold in a tremendously hard fought 200m. 20m down off the bend she forced her way back into the race down the home straight to win gold on the dip by 200ths of a second against a quality field.
Connor Oliver won gold in the u20s mens 400m leading from the start and clocking 50.18 a new PB
Tom Mitchel won gold in the mens u17 Javelin with a throw of 47.88 m
Callum Mckay blasted off in the 200m U15 boys to clock an impressive 23.46 a massive PB and gold medal
Helen Bloomfield produced a vintage display to win gold in the vets 300m
Nicola Martell Smith showed her class in the 400m hurdles winning gold
Daniel King was also a class above winning gold in the senior mens 3000 walk clocking 12.28
