Two races are held at each event, a junior race and a senior race.
Runners in the senior race must be at least 16. This allows second year U17 athletes(school year 12) to chose to run in either race but not both.
The junior is run as one race but split into girl and boy categories for each of the following age groups.
|Age Group||School Years|
|Under 11||3, 4, 5 and 6|
|Under 13||7 and 8|
|Under 15||9 and 10|
|Under 17||11 and 12|
Note that these age groups are in line with the standard AAA XC age groups (as used by the Essex League and championship races)
Entry to the junior race is free, entry to the senior race is £3 but normally covered by the club.
Please talk to your team manager about your availability.
