Strong winds and mud make the going tough
Ramsey is always one of the toughest Cross Country Course and the strong winds and mud made the going very tough. Harriers were way below strength due to the previous days Essex XC League but nether-the-less were unlucky to finish 4th on the day in a very close run competition . Harriers maintain joint 2nd place in the league and will be fielding a much stronger team at the next fixture at Gosfield School grounds.
Harriers finishers were 3 Ged McMillan, 19 Keith Marley, 24 Martyn Clarke,27 John Fryer, 33 Sean Ketteridge 34 Russell Goodridge, 37 David Wright, 40 Chris Manby, 51 Richard Millward, 54 Kevin McAlinden, 69 Dan Wilkinson, 77 Barry Shaw, 102 Pat marsh, and 121 Martin Claydon.
The ladies were led home by super-vet Lyn Higgs 4th then came Sarah Ivory 9th, Rachel Taylor 13th and Fay Smalls 62.

Millward looking strong
Danny Millward is a class act and following on from his 11h place in the Essex XC league the day previous he was 3rd overall at the latest 53-12 Junior fixture at Ramsey to lead harriers to 2nd place on the day behind Ipswich Jaffa.

Matthew Smith, 8 Archie French, 27 Lilly Waterson (1st under 15), 29 Jasmine Marley (2nd under 15 ), 36 Hannah Rodgers, 45 Amber Cairn, 48 Isobella Minder, 49 Mollie Whitefom, 55 Mia Farrell, 58 Madeleine Claydon, 61 Lily Cairns, 65 Samantha Smith, 67 Grace Gardiner, 69 Masie Waterson, 73 Amelia Dean, 85 Chloe Mizon.
