A small field lined up for this trail race. No one quite sure which foot wear to use; it wasn’t muddy so over half of us got it wrong! Fairly flat through fields, sandy paths, grass and gravel too, the signage was great until mile 11 when many at the front got it wrong and added 1/4 mile to the tally that pushed the final count beyond half marathon. Martyn Clarke raised a flag for the over 50’s and finished 3rd overall in around 1hr 33.
