At the Heritage multi terrain half marathon, at Thorpeness, Ellie Mayne swept to victory in warm conditions. It was top ten finishes in the men for Martyn Clarke 8th, and Chris Manby 10th, Simon Smith just missed out finishing 11th, Cathy beard and Les Dunham also finished. In the Marathon the going was tough but Malcolm Statham and David Wright kept to the job and finished 5th and 6th in 3:41 and 3:42.

Martyn Clarke then ran another half marathon at Milton Keynes clocking 1:29:30. And 19:34 at the Bedgebury park run in Kent finshing 4th. Clarke won the first over 50 prize.

The Colchester 5km ParkRun saw just under 400 runners finish on a bright sunny morning. Mark Harrod was runner up in 17:56, with Danny Millward 18:28 4th and David Wright 19:02 9th. Angus Holford and Jon Nears jogged round in 19:03 in preparation for the Halstead marathon. Richard Boden ran two personal bests at the Witham 5 and at the Castle clocking a superb 19:04. Also in the top 20 were Chris Manby 19:09, Tim Ballard 19:19, Keith Marley 19:26, and Simon Smith 19:32. Other Harriers to finish were Dan Marks 19:36, Jamie Nelson 19:43, Richard Millward 20:08, Dan Wilkinson (Pb) 20:47, Jerry Walder 21:33, Jo Martin (1st Lady) 22:41, Oliver Saunders 23:47, Sandra Fox 23:58, Hannah Rodgers 24:12, Simon Morgan 25:49, Rachel Richardson-Wright 30:56, and Fay Smalls 34:18. The Great Cornard event saw Drew Olley 5th 19:57, and Ady Frost 7th 20:06, Debbie Cattermole ran 26:28.
