Colchester: Watson has Castle win

Hannah Watson although in the 11-14 age group was the overall first lady at The Colchester Castle 5km clocking 20-51, Mark Harrod was runner up in 17-54 a week after running a sub 3 hour marathon at Brighton. Youngsters Ethan Thrower and Lee Hykel both stopped the clock in 18-28 for 3rd and 4th positions. David Wright 9th 19-18 , and Ian Haw 10th 19-31 were followed home by Simon Taylor 11th 19-34, and Andy Raynor 16th 20.00.

Other park runs

Kelley Haniver was the winning lady at the Ipswich park run clocking 19-07 over a tough course, and at the Maldon promenade event danny Millward was 4th 18-55, Richard Boden 7th 19-27, Joseph Boden 8th 19-52, and Richard Millward 15th 20-21. Finally at Great Cornard Drew Olley was 4th in 19-58, and Lucy Turner 35-40.
