Competitors must be 15 or older on the 31st August in the year of competition
Entry is free and managed by the club.
Please talk to your team manager about your availability.
There are 5 fixtures between April and August.
Fixtures tend to be on Saturdays (occasionally Sundays) and start at 12:00 and finish around 17:00.
Fixtures are spread around the southern counties. For the more distant fixtures the club often organises a coach and charges a small fee to help cover costs.
Teams are divided into 5 divisions. Division 1, Division 2E and Division 2W each have 16 teams, Division 3NE and Division 3SW have around 20 teams, with promotion and relegation at the end of each season. Fixtures are arranged so that all teams in a division meet once during the season.
Each fixture has 4 clubs with 2 men and 2 women from each club competing in each event.
Each athlete scores points in their event towards the team’s overall score (an athlete can be in different strings or a non-scorer for each event).
