Road Running

Competitions

The club competes in a wide range of competitions from the London marathon to local fun runs. Most weekends there will be a group of Harriers competing somewhere (if not everywhere).

Many races require you to enter as an individual, but for others the club will manage entries.

Training Groups

There are several training groups that meet and train together and cater for a wide range of abilities from beginners upwards.

Parkrun

Parkrun organise free weekly 5k races in many towns around the country. These are a great way to get into road running as most take place in park land away from traffic.

For more information visit the parkrun website http://www.parkrun.org.uk/

Local venues include

Maldon promenade park http://www.parkrun.org.uk/maldonprom/
