CHAC’s AGM will take place on Thursday 26th October at 7pm in the Pegasus Clubhouse at the Garrison Tack. As discussed at the most recent committee meeting, training will be limited, short and sweet. All fully paid-up members who are 14 years and over are currently eligible to vote at the AGM and are encouraged to attend. As per the Clubs Constitution any proposal for motions must be submitted in writing to the Club Secretary Steph Maltby at least 14 days prior to the meeting; the cut-off date being Thursday the 12th of October. The British University and Colleges Sports, (BUCS), has been at the forefront of university sport for over 100 years. Taking place at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield from the 14th to 16th February 2020 the indoor Athletics Championships  is one of the biggest gatherings of Student athletes in the UK. Marshalls required for the Essex veterans and U13 U15 Championship which are being hosted by Harriers at Hilly fields on Saturday 1st December. Races are: 10.00 U13 boys 3km; 10.15 U13 Girls 3km; 10.30 U15 boys 4 km; 10.50 u15 Girls 4Km; 11.15 M50+ men and Ladies 35+ 8km; 12.00 men over 40 8km,   If you're not a veteran and can help out for a Couple of hours that would be fantastic. 9:00 am start Runners should be at the Community Hall at Langham in good time to pick up your race number (latest 8:15 am) Entries will be accepted on the day.  You must enter before 8:15am. In his first overseas International Competition for GB Juniors, Charlie Dobson once again showed true style and determination to claim a top podium place at the Bauhaus Junioren Gala, Mannheim, Germany, 23-24 June. Following his performance at the National Championships just a week ago, where he was pipped into silver place in the U20m 200m, Dobson was offered both the A string Relay and an individual 200m slot at this prestigious event.
